- Direct and mentor a team of frontend developers, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our React applications, ensuring they align with our architectural vision and standards.
- Facilitate collaboration between design, product, and technical teams to translate concepts into user-centric interfaces.
- Uphold and advocate for best practices in TypeScript/React development, ensuring our applications are responsive, functional, and visually compelling.
- Lead the charge in unit testing, working closely with the QA team to enhance application quality and address issues.
- Champion our architectural and coding standards, including MicroFrontend architecture, and drive initiatives for code optimization and scalability.
- Serve as a technical advisor across departments, offering insights and solutions to complex challenges.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend services, fostering a cooperative environment between frontend and backend developers.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies, enriching the team's knowledge through workshops, training sessions, and code reviews.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven leadership experience in managing agile development teams.
- Expertise in React, Node.js, and full-stack development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of CSS, HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
- Proficient in unit testing and familiar with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
- Experience with AWS services and understanding of serverless architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- Strong communication abilities in English; French or German is a plus.
