Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Speech Language Pathologist SLP:
- Provides Speech Therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech
- Therapy Department procedures
- Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients, family, and other team members
- Coordinates treatment plans with patients, family, and other team members
- To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals
- To supervise and direct the Speech Language Pathologists Assistants (SLPAs) in the implementation of treatment plans
- 36 hours guaranteed
- 13 week assignment
- Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner
- New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
- Must have their CCCs
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work assignment
- Experience assessing and diagnosing speech, language, voice, flu
