Assistant Teacher Positions

Little Tykes Learning Center is looking for energetic, dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team!

The right person will have 2 years working with children, (preference will be given to someone enrolled in ECE or related field), but this is not a requirement. This person must also have flexibility with scheduling for Monday-Friday and enjoy educating young children.

All of our Teachers are responsible for the safety, education, care, supervision, and comfort of each and every child in their classroom. Teachers are responsible for the daily activities that keep our students active and engaged. Creating lesson plans, interacting with children, and documentation of learning are considered essential responsibilities of this position. Teachers help to maintain a safe and clean classroom and are responsible for maintaining the daily lesson plan and schedule weekly.

To be considered for a child care position, you must meet all minimum requirements:

-Must be at least 18 years of age

-Must have HS diploma or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications:

2 years of experience working with children.

There are different benefit options available to full time employees. (Part-time schedules can vary up to 30 hours per week depending on availability.)
