Cabinet Maker Responsibilities:
- Building, assembling, repairing, and installing wooden cabinets furniture and fixtures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Reviewing drawings and choosing appropriate materials.
- Cutting and joining wood to make parts according to the plans
- Assembling cabinets and furniture from shaped components
- Making cabinetry and furniture pieces according to specifications, including hinges, locks and handles
- Repairing or refurbishing older furniture
- Refining or enhancing existing furniture by adding intricate details
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Cabinet Maker, carpentry, or wood shop experience
- Knowledge in hand/power tools, and measuring tape
