About the position :
This dynamic position is the final phase of our e-commerce operation where merchandise sold online is boxed, labelled, and shipped to waiting customers.
Donated goods are sold through several online channels such as shopgoodwill.com and ebay.com.
The packaging team processes customer orders, securely packing merchandise for handling and delivery by carriers like FedEx and USPS.
Avoiding breakage and damage is an essential component of a package shipper’s responsibilities.
Personal pacing and organization are critical in this position, maintaining momentum to meet hourly and shift-specific shipping goals while practicing efficient order processing by date.
Besides packaging and shipping using web-based software, shippers print and pick orders from inventory, stock supplies, organize department storage, and maintain clean, efficient work areas.
Successful package shippers maintain attention to detail and show pride in effective and timely packing methods to minimize damage and avoid shipping errors.
