About the role:

The Sr. Tax Accountant will lead our efforts in preparing annual state and city tax returns along with providing the Veralto Corporate Tax team with accurate and timely tax package filings for Hach Company and the Hach Group.

In this role, you will:

• Preparation of all state and city income tax returns.
• Maintain the tax calendar to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Preparation of all income tax packages required by Veralto Corporate Tax.
• Accumulation of state apportionment information.
• Consolidation of Hach Group tax reporting packages.
• Coordination with Hach Group accounting personnel to obtain accurate information in a timely manner for preparation of consolidated packages.

It would be a plus if you could also:

• Analysis of deferred taxes.
• Act as lead person to coordinate state income tax audits.
• Act as lead with Veralto Corporate Tax to provide ad hoc information requests.
• Calculate all schedule M adjustments and tax credits annually.
• Assist in monitoring the unclaimed property process at Hach Company.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation of tax related G/L accounts.

Are you qualified?

• US or International equivalent of bachelor’s degree required.
• US or International equivalent of Certified Public Accounting external certification preferred.
• Two to Four years as an accountant with tax return preparation experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of deferred taxes, accounting, and financial reporting.

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
