We are a small, professional CPA firm looking for a staff accountant to join us. Duties include tax preparation and accounting for small to medium businesses and their owners. Also monthly accounting and reviewing general ledgers.

Our ideal candidate is an individual who is able to ensure our client’s confidence in us by providing and delivering superior service and providing knowledge on future tax planning strategies.

This individual should also feel comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, as well as be able to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

A successful candidate will have:

- Experience in individual, small and mid-sized business tax preparation
- Calculate and estimate tax payments, deductibles, & liabilities
- Collect data from income statements and expense documents
- Advise individuals and companies on tax strategies
- The desire to learn and do the best work of your career
- Corporate & Personal P&L/balance sheet reconciliation

Requirements:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent Certification
- Excellent computational ability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- QuickBooks knowledge is a plus

We are a small, casual firm in business to do one thing … help our clients. Flexible hours are possible.

Salary Dependent On Experience.
