The Lovibond Design Center, based in Loveland, CO, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the Lovibond team on site in Loveland. The ideal candidate, holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent, will assist in achieving overall company goals and support us in our commitment to putting customers first by providing excellent service and great product experiences.
The Lovibond Cloud Engineer is expected to participate in the design & development of secure cloud specific solutions for our products and services. They will work directly with a talented and dedicated team of colleagues to perform requirements analysis and develop the best possible solutions. This will include transforming raw data into meaningful insights by thorough Data Analysis.
Responsibilities:

• Collecting, cleaning, and wrangling large datasets from various sources
• Performing statistical analysis and hypothesis testing, and developing predictive models
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify business opportunities
• Create data visualizations and dashboards for stakeholders
• Provide actionable recommendations to drive strategic decision-making

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Demonstrates clear knowledge of SaaS, IaaS and PaaS
• Expertise in Java, C#, Python, Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Knowledge of web services such as API, REST and RPC
• Experience with MQTT protocols
• Strong background with common frameworks (Node.js, React, Flask, Angular, etc.)
• Experience with databases, cloud storage, and data structures (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML etc)
• Knowledge in the use of APIs
• Experience in authentication and cloud security
• Source code control
• Experience with more than one cloud platform a plus
• Certification (Azure, AWS or similar) a plus
• Ability to collaborate internally to meet business goals
• Strong presentation skills
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written & oral)
• Demonstrated excellent task management & organization skills
