Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily collection and processing of batch summaries from multiple Lockbox services
- Daily collection and processing of Electronic Fund Transfers
- Retrieving Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from a variety of sources
- Electronic and manual posting of insurance and personal payments
- Balancing of all completed batches
- Work closing with AR Associates to resolve payment posting errors
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 3 years posting experience with healthcare experience
- Experienced with Microsoft applications.
- EMR experience – 3 years
- Experience posting Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plan
- Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT or procedure codes.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume, multi-provider practice
