ABOUT OUR OPEN ROLE

We seek a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic sales and hospitality team as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for building and expanding brand awareness and loyalty through social media engagement, wine club and direct-to-consumer digital and print marketing channels, content creation, and event assistance. Under general supervision by the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creation, implementation, and development of Zaca Mesa and TREAD Wine’s image by utilizing print, web, digital, interpersonal, and social media channels.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Use Instagram and Facebook scheduling software to schedule consistent and timely social media posts for both winery brands (Zaca Mesa Winery and TREAD Wines).
  • Engage daily on social media platforms (Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram) by answering comments and direct messages and promptly interacting with our customer base.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager on content curation, including photo and video shoots as needed.
  • Support Tasting Room events and promotions by creating event and promotion descriptions, content for social media posts, print materials (flyers, order forms, menus, etc.), and graphics for brand websites and local community calendars.
  • Promote Club events by drafting event descriptions and visuals to post on local websites, social media platforms, and targeted email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the DTC team to plan and execute monthly web promotions and offers.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and maintain point-of-sale materials for the guest experience (signage, wine lists, event promotion, etc.).
  • Regularly evaluate websites and marketing materials to improve content and brand message cohesion.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to scout and participate in local and statewide advertising and marketing event opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Wine Business, or a related field.
  • 1 - 2 years of demonstrated experience in online communications, social media, public relations, consumer/demographic trends, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency with Mailchimp or comparable platforms.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suites, primarily InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Photography and videography skills preferred.
  • Experience in graphic design and copywriting; a brief portfolio of work demonstrating your design style and copywriting skills is a plus!
  • Outstanding grammar and English language skills.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suites, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: experience using task management software like Planner or Monday is a plus!
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be available to work occasional alternative hours, including evenings and weekends.
