We’re Milk Teeth, an online multi-brand marketplace for un-boring, un-gendered, joyful clothes for kids, committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Launched in late 2021, we’re a very small but very driven team, and the business has been growing rapidly. We are looking for a Studio Assistant to help us with order fulfillment, tracking inventory, and general administrative tasks.

Job Description:

As a Studio Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders. While order fulfillment will be the main responsibility, the Studio Assistant will also support wholesale shipments, influencer gifting, and both receiving and updating inventory. This is a 15-20 hour/week, part-time position with the potential for increased hours during the busy holiday season, as well as a possibility of transitioning to full-time later. This is not a remote position; you will be required to work on-site at our Lincoln Heights studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process and pack customer orders according to company guidelines.
• Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and packing materials & any necessary documentation.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels of product and relevant supplies.
• Notify the supervisor when inventory levels are low and restocking is required.
• Conduct quality checks on products before packaging to ensure they meet our standards.
• Report any damaged or substandard products to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and ensure orders are dispatched on time
• Drop off shipments at shipping facilities as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with the team regarding order status and any issues that may arise.
• Notify customers of any order delays or issues and provide excellent customer service
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Assist in receiving new inventory and restocking shelves.
• Assist with inventory checks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in order fulfillment or a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of up to 30 pounds.
• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of basic software applications. Experience with Shopify is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during the holiday season.
• Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license.

Working Hours:

15-20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours during busy season and further growth. There is some flexibility on exact days/timing.
