Qualifications
  • Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrated technical competence in high-volume chemistry/hematology
  • Working knowledge of lab safety, basic lab skills (e.g., pipetting, dilutions, specimen integrity), and test methodologies
  • Proficiency in practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions for making reagents and calculations
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as pipetting and computer data entry
  • Two years of recent experience in a high-volume laboratory setting – preferred
