Studio Manager
Description of role, responsibilities, and duties
Epilogue Inc. is a retouching, fine art-printing, and digi-tech studio located in the heart of Los Angeles’ resurgent Downtown Arts District. We are seeking to add a Studio Manager to our team of photographers, retouchers, and fine art printing professionals. The Studio Manager is responsible for running the studio and assisting with various production tasks. The ideal candidate has a background in photography, is motivated and self-starting, works well with others, and has a positive work ethic. This is an entry-level job at an exciting studio with room to grow and develop.
As Studio Manager, you will be responsible for the daily interactions in, and upkeep of, the studio, as well as support of the employees and guests. This includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Manage entire studio and office, maintain presentability
- Oversee incoming phone calls
- Handle incoming and outgoing packages and shipping
- Manage decor and style
- Waste and recycling
- Hospitality, Lunch, and Snack resources
- Studio security management: alarm, camera, keycards, access control
- Sign in & out clients and vendors using security guidelines
- Schedule clients, including security and access key cards
- Maintain Petty Cash
- Inventory
- Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
- Monitor office and kitchen supplies inventory and place orders
- Arrange shipping and receiving
- Run a variety of errands
- Liaise with facility vendors, including cleaning, catering, security, and arrange necessary repairs
- Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties or celebrations
- Plan and execute client gifting as needed
- Oversee company social media campaigns as needed
- Oversee all equipment, warranties, consumables, and set-up
This is a 100% on-site position, no remote work, in Downtown Los Angeles, CA.
Hours
Studio hours are 10am - 7pm, Monday - Friday, with occasional night and weekend work.
Skills
Computer skills preferred: Adobe Creative Suite, Google G Suite, Asana; Epilogue is a Mac-based studio.
