What are the responsibilities and duties of an Immigration Paralegal?

  • Communicating with clients, performing intakes and completing USCIS applications such as but not limited to Adjustment of Status, Cancellation of Removal, Asylum, and Work Authorization applications.
  • Providing clients with case status updates whether on the phone or in-person.
  • Assisting our attorneys with file organization, case preparation including but not limited to submissions to USCIS and Immigration Court.

Your qualifications and skill set for Immigration Paralegal:

  • Fluency in Spanish is required, including willingness and ability to interpret and translate when needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of law or earned Paralegal Certificate
  • 1 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess strong time-management skills.
  • Excellent use of software applications such as Google apps, Microsoft Word, and Cerenade
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team when required
