Business Office Manager (On-Site)

Care at Home is seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team for our growing home care agency located in New London, CT.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for supporting team success. This strategic thinker will have a thorough understanding of financial management and a track record of success in billing and collections. This jack of all trades will also have the mindset of no job is too small!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee billing operations, including invoice generation, payment processing, and collections management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize billing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Resolve billing disputes and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices in billing and collections management.
  • Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Foster a positive office culture and promote teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare service setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in billing software.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
