We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Nexeo. This position involves performing general maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment systems and facilities equipment systems. The Maintenance Mechanic will assist electromechanical technicians with reactive maintenance, perform preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain maintenance records. This role requires a solid background in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, control logic, and optics.

Responsibilities

• Assist electromechanical technicians with reactive maintenance on production equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on production equipment.

• Maintain maintenance records and information on productions and facilities equipment.

• Assist with cost-effective installation, monitoring, and modification of manufacturing equipment.

• Troubleshoot equipment, process, or materials issues.

• Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve equipment issues.

• Identify equipment improvement opportunities and suggest modifications.

• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.

• Perform daily housekeeping duties and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Maintenance-related certifications or Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology.

• 1-2 years of applicable work experience or participation in the TTM Technologies internship program.

• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Experience using Microsoft Windows software applications.

• Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to establish priorities and manage personal work assignment backlog.

• Problem-solving skills.

• Mathematical ability for basic calculations.

• Effective communication skills.

• Physical stamina for up to 12-hour shifts involving extensive walking, standing, lifting, bending, and climbing.

• Ability to operate hand and power tools, test equipment, calculator, personal computer, and production equipment.

Pay

$24.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Rotating 12-hour shifts

(WK 1) 4:30 am - 5:00 pm | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

(WK 2) 4:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
