Overview

Red Bridge Golf Club is situated on 500 acres in the foothills of the Uwharrie Mountains. Designed in 2009 by course architect and Pete Dye protege, David Postlethwait, Red Bridge Golf Club has come into its own with the well-tended fairways and notable elevation changes.

The design relied heavily on the natural features of the landscape, allowing the course to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings while also shaping natural hazards.

For these traits, and its friendly, professional staff, Red Bridge Golf Club is one of the region’s premier golf destinations.

Red Bridge measures nearly 6,800 yards from the back tees and ends with the notable 650 yard Par 5 18th. Red Bridge is located just 30 minutes from Downtown Charlotte in Locust, NC right off the Rocky River.

Essential Responsibilities

As Assistant Golf Professional, you will be specifically responsible for successfully carrying out the following duties :

• Assist head professional in day-to-day operations.
• Provide golf instruction and assist in conducting golf clinics.
• Play with members and their guests.
• Continue to work on your game.
• Assist in making sure the golf shop is maintained in a neat and clean manner daily.
• Assist in the monthly inventory.
• Coordinate the receiving and pricing merchandise with the Professional Staff.
• Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly procedures are being followed.
• Possess a thorough understanding of overall golf operation.
• Ensure that all golf shop supplies, and all reports are maintained correctly.
• Coordinate with the cart staff, starters and rangers to make sure all is running properly on the golf course.
