International Logistics Specialist-Export Level 1

About the position:

The International Logistics Specialist assists the export operations team, including supporting operations teams daily in processing documentation and filing AES (Automated Export System). They also proactively communicate with clients and operations staff on their shipments' status and actively maintain and escalate as needed.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:

• Identifying urgency level, escalate and provide alternative options for urgent shipments.
• Receive, review, process and, produce accurate documentation based upon government and client guidelines, and update database in a timely manner with most current information.
• Maintain knowledge of AES filing requirements.

You are a great fit for this role if you have:

• A High School Diploma, associate degree or pursuit of bachelor's degree in related field (accounting, logistics, business) preferred.
• Experience in international transportation and/or Cargowise is a plus.
