Reporting to the VP, Network Engineering, the Director, Network Engineering will be responsible for the design, implementation and performance of the Transport and IP Networking systems that support DISH’s 5G network. DISH’s vision for its 5G network is to utilize cloud-native technologies operating on a flexible computing platform distributed across the country. This role will lead Network Engineering functions and collaborate with a world-class team to develop, implement and support our cutting-edge 5G technology. This leader will oversee network and security management, emergency response, and the design and deployment of new technologies and processes that optimize cost savings and/or productivity improvements. He or she will administer and develop network and voice usage policies and proactive management of security and network systems that protect corporate data.

The successful candidate will bring a passion for working on new technologies in a fast-paced and evolving environment. He or she will be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. This individual will have 12 years of experience working with network and telecommunication technologies and assets.
