A Better Approach ABA was founded by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 12 years experience working in the field of Behavior Analysis and with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mission is to provide "A Better Approach" for each individual we serve by utilizing the most current, effective, and compassionate techniques and strategies that meet the unique needs of your child. A Better Approach ABA provides services all over Central Arkansas and in multiple settings such as the child's home, community, and school.

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

**Duties:**

- Implement behavior management techniques as outlined in treatment and behavior plans.

- Assist in the collection and recording of data related to client outcomes.

- Support patients with communication skills, receptive and expressive language skills, socialization, self-injury, self-help skills, etc.

- Collaborate with the child's team which may include other professionals such as speech pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers, paraprofessionals, etc.

- Apply principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support client needs.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

- Work with the family to help train on caregiver goals.

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in behavior management or a related field is preferred.

- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and techniques.

- Ability to follow treatment and/or behavior plans and behavioral intervention strategies.

- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable, but can be done after hire.
