Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardscaper to join our team. As a Hardscaper, you will be responsible for constructing and installing various hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Your expertise in concrete finishing, construction estimating, and other related skills will be essential in creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to determine project requirements and specifications
- Prepare the site by clearing debris and ensuring proper grading
- Install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures
- Utilize concrete finishing techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes
- Estimate materials and labor costs for each project
- Perform stucco application and repair as needed
- Install glass for outdoor features such as fire pits or water features
- Apply caulking to ensure proper sealing of hardscape elements
- Assist with roof installation or repairs as required
- Conduct frame carpentry work for outdoor structures
- Restore or remodel existing hardscape features to enhance their appearance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hardscaper or similar role
- Proficiency in concrete finishing techniques
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles
- Familiarity with stucco application and repair processes
- Experience in glass installation for outdoor features is a plus
- Ability to apply caulking for proper sealing of hardscape elements
- Knowledge of roof installation or repair procedures is advantageous
- Skilled in frame carpentry for outdoor structures
- Ability to restore or remodel existing hardscape features using appropriate techniques
- Proficiency in using software for project documentation is preferred
