- Shift: 10 Hour - Days
- Travel Reimbursement: Up to $600
- Minimum 2 years of Open Heart experience
- Graduate of an approved surgical technology program
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
- American Heart BLS & AHA (or ARC) Certifications
Join us for an exciting opportunity in Lincoln, NE. As a Cardiovascular Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in assisting cardiac surgeons during heart surgeries and related procedures. Your responsibilities will include prepping the CVOR, providing preoperative care, and assisting in patient transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- Establish and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures
- Ensure proper handling and care of instruments and equipment
- Assist in individualized patient care plans
- Anticipate and provide support to surgeons and assistants during procedures
- Complete required orientation sessions
- Adhere to safety rules and guidelines
- Follow facility protocols
- Respect patient cultural and religious practices
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Ensure punctuality for assigned shifts
