Pure & Secure is a growing business in Airpark that manufactures stainless steel water distillers.

We are seeking a technical person with personal interest and skills to apply to the development of residential and commercial appliances for distilling high purity water in the rapidly expanding water purification market.

The position involves learning the process of distillation, designing and building stainless steel distillers, evaluating their performance, defining specifications as appropriate, and providing customer support for commercial systems including installations in the U.S.A. and abroad.

This position is Salaried

Salary starts at $40,000 to $60,000 per year, Salary based on Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Engineering Technician Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in self-improvement.
• Has a team spirit.
• Reliable, good attendance.
• Willingness to travel in the U.S.A. and abroad.
• Computer skills required, CAD programing a plus

Engineering Technician Duties and Responsibilities (after in-house training)

• Ability and interest to learn distillation technology.
• Build test models of new and modified distillers
• Work well with suppliers, distributors and end-users
• Provides customer service for commercial distillers by phone or on-the-ground.
• Field Installation and maintenance of distillers
• Ability to trouble-shoot on-site and by telephone.
• Provide quality assurance support to manufacturing and assembly
• Become knowledgeable about all aspects of the water purification industry
• Attend trade-shows as required.
• Maintain and certify new and existing distiller models to North American and International product standards

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years business experience
