Mercy Multiplied is Hiring a Program Assistant Near Lincoln, CA
Education: Bachelors Degree in Social Science is preferred but not required. Must have a high school diploma or pass a general education development test (GED).
In the Program Assistant role, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Answers the phone and works the front desk of the home (includes receiving deliveries, welcoming guests, preparing Home staff and resident mail, facilitating questions for residents and sign-up forms for residents being monitored following meals).
- Receives visitors in a polite and courteous manner and notifies appropriate person or department; Customer service is of the utmost importance
- Conduct home’s weekly bank run and manages petty cash
- Supervises and manages all monetary donations given to home
- General clerical duties to include typing labels, form letters, and email responses as needed
- Retrieves mail from the Post Office daily; facilitates PO needs of residents and MMA mailings
- Supervises, manages, and audits all personal and medical funds, and documentation for residents
- Manages all outgoing funds for tithes, education, passes, special events and mall days, helps residents budget their money, utilizing the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace principles taught in the home
- Assist Medical Services Manager with managing all prescriptions and medications including getting prescriptions filled and ensuring doctors’ orders are followed, obtaining refills in a timely manner, restocking medication cabinet with needed over-the-counter pharmaceutical supplies while ensuring expiration dates are current, making sure counts of prescription medications are maintained, and monitoring the use of all medications by residents
- Oversees special events photos and their delivery to corporate
- Maintains incoming resident photo log
- Monitors various program elements: Bible reading, worship, class, snack, lunch, couch, etc.
- Supervises mall trips with residents
- Maintains residents’ postage supplies
- Manages residents’ correspondence with Compassion, Transform Cambodia, and any other requested parties identified by Development and/or Intake
- Must be responsible for safe transportation of residents, as needed
- Various Graduation Details: final personal belongings check-out, including monies, champion’s creed, ring orders, and burning and mailing graduation mailing
Compensation: $21 - $22 per hour
