Mobile Therapy Centers of America office is based in the Chicagoland suburb of Libertyville and is a private provider of ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Counseling services for children, adults and families. The therapy services are provided in childcare centers, private schools, in-home and our Chicagoland offices.

Job Summary:The Medical Biller, assists the Billing Manager in sending, entering, disputing, and responding to ABA Therapy Claims. The position will also support ABA department and maintain accurate up to date client files. He/she will also regularly communicate with insurance companies, clients and therapists to resolve discrepancies.

Essential Duties:

• Submit and monitor client medical records, authorizations and claims
• Contact insurers regarding claims status, denials, outstanding payments and authorizations
• Research and resolve outstanding claim issues
• Prepare appeals for denied claims
• Prepare medical records and other documents requested by insurance carriers
• Applying payments from insurance companies to client’s accounts in CRM
• Assist with updating discrepancies and correct issues

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience in billing healthcare
• High school diploma/GED required
• Computer proficiency skills: Insurance Web Platforms, MS Office, Excel (Filter)
• Able to sit for long periods
• Able to work in noisy environment
