DBi Services is Hiring a Traffic Control Technician Near Lexington, VA
JOB SUMMARY:
The position is responsible to perform general maintenance on the roadway project assigned. A $500 Sign On bonus will be awarded to applicants who are hired by September 30, 2021
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Safe operation of all vehicles and equipment
- Traffic incident response, inclement weather response
- Lane closures
- Interpret, review traffic control plans
- Supervise lane closure installations and removals
- Sign installation and repair
- Daily paperwork including truck inspection logs and work reports
- Other related traffic control and highway maintenance duties
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have transportation to and from Company office
- Be able to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50 - 60lbs.)
- Be able to comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and on call/emergency
- Highway traffic control knowledge and experience
- Experience placing, moving, and programming portable changeable message boards and arrowboards
- Related MOT certifications are preferred
