Join our innovative team as a Security Analyst and play an important role in KBR’s industrial security at our office in Lexington Park, MD. In this position, you'll leverage your expertise to identify potential risks and implement security measures. THIS POSITION IS 100% ON-SITE, M-F.Responsibilities
- Administers routine aspects of the DoD and company industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Conducts security briefings and supports security education programs.
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies. Prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring that sensitive data stays secure.
- Manage personnel security processes, including assessing eligibility for access, preparing nomination packages, waivers, or letters of compelling need, and managing/reporting/tracking access suitability information
- In addition, this position may aid in Systems Engineering and Logistics Support tasks, including, but not limited to process improvement initiatives, data entry and analysis. Additional duties as needed.
Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
Education: AS or AA degree from an accredited US institution.
Experience: 3 years of experience, with at least 2 of those years must be related to security processes and procedures, including...
- Demonstrated experience with Defense Information Security System (DISS), processing facility visit requests, DD Form 254.
- Demonstrated experience processing personnel clearances, physical security, personnel security, information security, and industrial security.
