Job Summary:
The Technical Writer will develop and revise technical documents, including user manuals, brochures, customer facing information. This role involves synthesizing information from subject matter experts to create comprehensive technical narratives from the perspectives of risk, compliance, manufacturing, and user experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text to an audience of various levels.
· Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
· Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
· Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite- Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or similar software
· Have a team player attitude
Preferred Qualifications (If applicable):
· Experience with technical writing for a manufactured product.
· Experience with certifying bodies (NIOSH, NFPA, CSA, CE)
· Experience with standards (ISO, EN, ANSI, CSA, NFPA)
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as, Science, Engineering, or another technical field.
· 3-5 years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
