This role involves providing comprehensive legal support for complex litigation matters. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the litigation practice, contributing to case strategy, legal research, document drafting, and court proceedings. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case preparation.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Assist in the preparation of discovery requests, responses, and related documents.Review and analyze documents, evidence, and deposition transcripts.Participate in case strategy meetings and provide input on case management.Assist with deposition preparation and conduct legal research on deposition topics.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communication.Attend court proceedings, hearings, and trials as required.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Stay abreast of legal developments, case law, and industry trends relevant to litigation practice areas. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the State of Maine.2-5 years of experience in litigation practice.Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Preferably have previous experience in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.Preferably have prior experience working in a law firm environment. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the State of Maine.
