Controller

Our manufacturing client in the Levittown, PA area is seeking a Controller to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant or accounting manager to get into a solid company with growth prospects! Manufacturing experience required. Will oversee a staff of three.

Responsibilities:

• Performing general ledger review
• Reviewing organizational payables, vendor payment cycles, POs, billing, and order entries
• Preparing various financial statements, including daily flash report, consolidated and divisional P&L and balance sheets, and bank covenant calculations
• Establishing internal controls
• Preparing cash flow forecast and budget
• Automating cash management, payables, and check-signing
• Maintenance of organizational accounting policies
• Developing and implementing cost and overhead reduction strategies for general ledger line items
• Overseeing collection and credit functions
• Regular ad hoc analysis and reporting

Skills/ Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• Small to mid size controller experience a plus
• Manufacturing experience required
• Mid level accounting systems knowledge
• Strong data orientation

Additional Details:

Compensation: to $110k bonus
