Job Position: Transportation Supervisor
Pay: WEEKLY PAY
Payrate: $60k-$65k yearly D.O.E
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable Transportation Supervisor to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include scheduling shipment for the customers. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customers satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/Direct all aspects of the incoming and outgoing products and the personnel within the department.
- Schedule all shipments for the customer.
- Ensure that the customer is contacted and expected equipment meets quality standards before leaving the facility.
- Schedule maintenance for all trucks, trailers, and service vehicles.
- Ensure that all equipment, drivers, and logs meet all local, state, and federal regulations and remain in compliance.
- Complete all state and federal required information. (IFTA, 2290, etc.)
- Monitor, control & reduce costs.
- Liaise and communicate with manufacturing, service, and customers.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Supervise coach and train yard and transport workforce.
- 4 years in management
- 4 years in transportation/shipping related field
- Good communication skills
- 4 years of experience in customer service.
- Strategic planning
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
