NEW role alert! We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Production Technician to join our team in Lenexa, KS! As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting various laboratory tests and experiments in a production setting. Your expertise will contribute to research and development efforts, quality control measures, and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for testing in production setting
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory and production processes
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety guidelines
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and order as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or related discipline) preferred
- Previous experience working as a Laboratory Technician or similar role preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a production type environment
- Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the day
- Able to lift heavy loads and materials
