PeopleShare is Hiring a Paint Prepper Near Leetsdale, PA

We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Paint Preparer! In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the window and door manufacturing process. You will be responsible for preparing sub-assembly components for painting, operating painting equipment, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Rate of Pay: $19.50 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sub-assembly components for painting, including cleaning, masking, loading/unloading, and transporting paint carts.
  • Cross-train on various tasks including painting, mixing/dying paint, quality control, and processing sub-assembly components according to established specifications and standards.
  • Identify and document any instances of poor-quality products or production data.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities, following established procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience safely operating equipment used for cleaning and preparing parts for painting (both manual and automated).
  • Experience with computers and programmable equipment.
  • Strong motivation and a drive to produce high-quality products in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.


Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to perform basic quality checks to identify defects in products.
  • Safe operation of paint area equipment (mixing room, paint booth, sprayers, etc.).
  • Safe operation of small handheld tools (screwdriver, mallet, utility knife, clamps, etc.).
  • Proficient use of measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, go/no-go gauges, jigs, fixtures, etc.).
