The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the warehouse operations and warehouse personnel.
Job Responsibilities :
Plans, directs or coordinates the storage or distribution operations within an organization that stores or distributes materials or products.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Monitoring / Assessing the performance of other individuals or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Monitor inventory levels of products or materials in the warehouse.
Making decisions and solving problems. Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
Implementing organizational processes or policy changes. Inspecting the condition or functioning of facilities or equipment.
Monitoring facilities or operational systems. Controlling operations of equipment or systems. Determining causes of operating errors and deciding on a resolution to the problem.
Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work and identifying the best candidates for the job. Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to fulfill certain work duties.
Supervise the activities of workers engaged in storing and shipping products and materials. Other duties as requested.
Job Requirements :
Previous warehouse manager / supervisor experience is required. This experience must be verifiable. Proficient computer skills.
Understanding and knowledge of forklift(s) and the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks (both electric and standard), and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of Inventory Management Software. Experience with Microsoft Outlook. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be highly organized and demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
