Job Summary and Qualifications

The Laboratory Assistant receives and processes specimensand carries out basic laboratory procedures.Additionally,there arerequiredclerical tasks such as greeting patients, informing them of the procedures, answering phones and emails, andmaintainingrecords.Comejoin our team of dedicated professionals that are committed to delivering the best patient care.

What you will do in this role:

• You will accurately identify and label.
• You will prepare specimens for analysis and testing.
• You will unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• You will process all necessary paperwork for submitted specimens.
You will perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Must have a minimum of 6 months current phlebotomy experience
• Six months computer keyboarding or equivalent preferred
