Key Responsibilities:

• Expertly craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following established recipes and guidelines.
• Foster positive interactions with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring top-tier customer service.
• Provide personalized recommendations and suggestions to patrons, guiding them in their beverage choices based on preferences and our menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized bar area, including the timely replenishment of supplies.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, with a commitment to responsible alcohol service and monitoring of patron intoxication levels.
• Accurately and efficiently handle cash transactions, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and providing change.
• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow team members to ensure the seamless operation of the bar and cultivate a positive work environment.
• Keep current with beverage trends, new products, and industry developments to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and courtesy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Consistently follow company policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain uniformity and uphold the high standards of The Iron Horse Bar & Grill.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, encompassing knowledge of their ingredients and preparation techniques.
• Exceptional customer service skills with strong communication abilities.
• Adept at multitasking and thriving under pressure in a high-volume setting.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid bartending license or certification (if mandated by Missouri state regulations).
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with assigned schedules.
