H&H Leadership Solutions is excited to present an outstanding Occupational Therapist opportunity with our client Cascade Medical, located in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the Cascade Foothills of Central Washington.

Job Type: Hourly, 40 hours per week

Reports to: Director of Rehab Services

Position Overview:

• Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs (inpatient and outpatient) for mentally, physically, or emotionally disabled persons.
• Serve as Activities Program Director for the CM's inpatient swing bed activities program.
• May Provide Occupational Therapy Consultation Services to nearby contracted rehabilitation facilities.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct inpatient and outpatient evaluations, develop appropriate Plans of Care (POC), and provide therapy treatments.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and billing.
• Provide specialized hand therapy and custom splints.
• Supervise the Activities Program Coordinator.
• Plan and lead activities such as manual arts, crafts, and daily living skills training.
• Coordinate sensory motor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to align therapy activities with patient needs.
• Teach skills and techniques to patients and evaluate their progress.
• Design and construct special equipment and suggest environmental adaptations.
• Requisition supplies and maintain equipment.
• Train medical and nursing staff in occupational therapy techniques.
• Participate in public education and relations to promote the hospital's rehabilitation services.
• Foster professional relationships with referral sources and medical providers.
• Work with the Rehab Services Director to enhance the quality of the Occupational Therapy Program.
• Seek to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• 1-2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington State.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Effective presentation and communication skills with managers, clients, customers, and the public.
