Sabin International Logistics Corp. is Hiring a Logistics Specialist Near Le Roy, NY

As a Logistics Specialist you will:

· Coordinate domestic truckload shipments; acting as focal point between Sales, Customer, Transportation provider, and Receiving facilities

· Monitor shipments while en route and communicate status’ to concerned parties

· Ensure selected carriers fall within established parameters/guidelines

· Monitor carrier performance and safety

· Obtain rates/issue quotes

· Proactively problem-solve and communicate with management when issues arise

· Maintain courteous, prompt and efficient customer & carrier relations

· Prepare shipping documents; create, distribute and maintain internal documentation

· Support Management as necessary with overall logistics functions as required

Experience/Skills:

  • Previous domestic and/or international transportation shipping experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to problem solve and resolve issues timely
  • Ability to prioritize, adhere to scheduled activities, and respond timely
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, perseverance, and patience
  • Shipping and carrier relations experience
  • Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt to changing processes/procedures
  • Current USDOT Hazmat Transportation Training Certification a plus, Certification is required for the position (can be obtained through the company after hire)

Currently the position is in office full time, there is a potential for hybrid in the future but it is not guaranteed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,188.00 - $53,112.00 per year
