Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• A graduate of a diploma,associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology. FOR UTAH ONLY - Associates degree is NOT required.
• Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred
• Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
• Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or RRT with post primary certification of Cardiac Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

To meet the needs of northern Utah’s growing population, we opened a brand-new 16,000-square-foot healthcare facility in Roy, known as the Weber Campus. The Weber Campus, which is convenient for patients in Ogden, Roy, and other neighborhoods west of I-15, currently offers emergency care, radiology, mammography and 24/7 laboratory services. Located in the northern portion of the Wasatch Front and only minutes from Hill Airforce Base, you can enjoy quick access to Ogden, Salt Lake City, Antelope Island State Park, hiking, biking, and the beautiful outdoor activities that Utah is known for.
