ABA Co-op is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Lawton, OK

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with individuals to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.

Duties:

- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Assist in the assessment of clients' skills and behaviors
- Collect and record data on client behavior
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide feedback and progress updates
- Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist in developing care plans and documenting progress

Skills:

- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education practices
- Ability to follow care plans and medical documentation protocols
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Understanding of patient care and support needs

40 hour training is provided to then test for an RBT certification. Training will also be provided working with the other RBTs and shadowing. You will work one-on-one with clients in their home and later in the clinical setting. We are looking for those with patience, kindness, and some understanding of autism and the rewarding outcomes ABA provides to the kids and their families. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 32 per week
