Job description
Position Summary:
Responsible for all activities associated with safely running the machine including operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
Responsibilities
- Make good neat bales
- Operate hogger and hog up all unusable paper and corrugated scrap
- Hand tie wax bale wires
- Assist in two man feeds as necessary
- Maintain accurate bale reports
- Maintain inventories of baling wire, wax and no wax tags, and scrap bales
- Operate a forklift in a safe manner when necessary
- Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and maintaining good housekeeping
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Skills
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination
- Job offer is contingent upon passing both a pre-employment drug test and physical

Salary: $25.76 per hour $1 shift differential
