Responsibilities:The Budget Analyst will have a variety of assignments and work closely with assigned departments to set budget priorities and assist in the preparation and administration of the annual budget for all assigned funds and the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan. Additional duties include monitoring and analyzing revenue and expenditure forecasts, collecting and analyzing performance measures of all assigned City programs, and preparing monthly budget to actual reports and analysis.

Qualifications:Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, business or public administration or a related field. A Master’s degree in public administration or a related field preferred.Three years increasingly responsible experience in public administration, business administration or a related field.Self-motivation, hardworking and good oral and written communication skills are a must for the position.
