We are looking for a competent RESTAURANT HOST / SERVER to essentially be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. You'll need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and possess a polite and friendly disposition. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Host Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus and/or direct to QR Code on table tent cards.
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls.
• Take and prepare to-go orders.
• Operate cash registers to accept payments for food and beverage.
• Speak with customers to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation.
• Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed.
• Receive and record patrons' dining reservations.
• Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
• Inform patrons of establishment specialties and features.
• Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and clean restrooms when necessary.
• Assist other restaurant workers by serving food and beverages, or by bussing tables when necessary.
• Make recommendations to order or requisition supplies and equipment for tables and serving stations.
• Assist with Marketing and Advertising campaigns on social media

Server Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary menu items
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payments

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving experience
• Hands-on experience in Cashier duties
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Timely, responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma REQUIRED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
