Looking for an experienced handyman type of maintenance tech, for a homeowners association (HOA) in North Lauderdale, FL.

Must have experience with irrigation systems, janitorial products and procedures, pressure cleaning, golf carts, basic electrical, plumbing, painting, concrete, street repair (cold patch, etc), landscaping, weekly palm fronds removal, hurricane preparedness and cleanup (if needed), and other types of typical Florida HOA duties, responsibilities (tool and equipment upkeep).

Must also be able to lift heavier objects (50 bs, or more at times), anticipate / recognize customary HOA property issues and be able to address them timely, before they become a bigger problem in cost, and /or interruption in resident services / amenities, and keeping management informed, and obtaining management approval for costs, accordingly.

In addition to the above, maintaining the cleanliness of the community is a must.

Must be a self-starter, who can work independently, follow directions easily, and work well and be friendlywith others, including staff, vendors / service providers, residents, and community guests.

Association provides tools, supplies, etc, to complete maintenance, and other work, in and for thecommunity.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Hiring consideration will also require passing a drug test and acceptable background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
