As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless acquisition of quality products and materials for our business operations. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials for our business.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating the best pricing and terms.
- Process purchase orders and keep management informed of order statuses.
- Update and manage inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Arrange transportation of goods and track orders for timely delivery.
- Analyze market trends and make informed buying decisions.
- Collaborate with inventory teams and management to forecast business needs.
- Assess the quality of received stock and address discrepancies with suppliers and management.
- Execute special projects for key stakeholders, including NetSuite development and implementation.
- Track costs on part numbers and optimize cost-efficiency in procurement.
- Research and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, logistics, business management).
- Relevant experience in procurement and supply management is preferred.
- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP is a plus.
