About us

Ryan Alexander, Chtd. is a personal injury practice in Las Vegas, NV. Two lawyers and six claim and litigation support staff. We are professional, fast-paced and engaging - we manage a large number of injury claims and lawsuits, including many files referred for lawsuits by other injury firms that are not as focused on jury trials.

Our work environment includes:

  • 7-8 employee office setting, most of whom have been with the firm for 5 years
  • Client base is about half Spanish speaking
  • We use Clio for case management and calendar
  • Daily deadlines for lawsuits that need to be managed

We are looking for a litigation paralegal to join our personal injury law firm. There are approximately 100 open litigation files, so the candidate will immediately assume 30-40 active files. Spanish not required, but bilingual candidates will receive interview preference. Candidate expected to have excellent customer service skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many critical deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting form pleadings, discovery responses and requests
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Monitoring discovery deadlines and trial calendaring in Clio
  • Communicating with medical offices and expert witness offices
  • Preparation of trial exhibits and demonstratives
  • Scan documents, fax documents, manage paper files
  • Order medical records and handle HIPPA sensitive health information
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, with working knowledge of Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
