FactoryFix is Hiring a Thread roll operator Near Lapeer, MI
Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Thread Roll Set Up Operator to join our team at our facility located in Lapeer, MI, 48446.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Roll Forming Machines, Plate Rollers, and Thread Rolling Machines, as well as the ability to perform machine setups for production runs and read blueprints.
This will be for 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform setups, tear down, and clean up of variety of thread roll machines
- Troubleshoot quality issues during production
- Ability to assist other operators with setup, troubleshooting and filling in as required.
- Ability to assist with training as needed / requested.
- Check to insure that all setup procedures are being followed
- Communicate information to other shifts regarding problems jobs
- Make regular suggestions on changes to increase machine production
- Follow 6-S principles
Qualifications
- Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematic skills to include the use of decimals and fractions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- Blueprint Reading
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Shop Math Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- High School / GED
