North American Dismantling Corp., a leader in the demolition industry, is looking for a self-starter to support yard operations. As Yard Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team with projects across the United States while working from our Lapeer, Michigan location. 

NADC provides demolition services in a wide variety of markets. Our capabilities include: demolition, industrial strip-outs, asset recovery and are supported by our expertise in disassembly engineering, environmental assessment, remediation, and specialty construction. We work throughout the United States, both as a prime contractor direct to clients and as a specialty contractor utilizing our own highly skilled trade forces.

On-site in Lapeer, Michigan

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and tidy equipment yard 
• General upkeep and organization of the garage
• Facility, equipment, and trailer maintenance i.e. power washing
• Perform fabrication and welding projects
• Manage equipment, monitor supplies, and organize inventory
• Prepare and clean equipment for deployment i.e. Excavators, attachments, bobcats, trailers, and other vehicles

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Some computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Must be comfortable working in occasional outdoor weather
