Job DescriptionComprehensive Wellness Centers, LLC is currently recruiting for a strong Clinical Director to join our team in Lantana, Florida. The Clinical Director is responsible for, formulating and implementing appropriate treatment plans for clients on their assigned caseload and for timely and satisfactory documentation of all treatment efforts. The Clinical Director will adhere to standards, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the Department of Children and Families, as well as Joint Commission.The ideal Clinical Director candidate maintains an active LCSW-QS or LMHC-QS and has 2 or more years of Management experience, working knowledge of levels of care, Joint Commission, DCF and AHCA standards, crisis intervention, and is more than familiar with the needs of a primary mental health and substance abuse population.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • A passion for helping others
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (or a related Human Services field) is required.
  • PHD, PYSD, LMSW OR LCSW required.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a Management role is required, preferably 3-5 years of work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health.
  • Familiarity with the needs of a primary mental health and substance use disorder population is required.
  • Familiarity with the needs of a primary mental health population is required.
  • Working knowledge of Joint Commission, DCF and AHCA standards, levels of care and crisis intervention is required.
  • Preferred soft skills: boundaries, leadership, communication, organization, self-motivation, empathy and professionalism.
Primary Job Duties:
  • Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegate’s authority for completion of responsibilities.
  • Functions as leader of multi-disciplinary Clinical Treatment Team/staffing meetings.
  • Delivers direct patient services, such as primary therapist, performing individual and group therapist sessions, and documentation of events, as needed.
  • Provides for staff development (i.e., supervision, educational, etc.)
  • Facilitates communication with ancillary services and facilitates case management services.
  • Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures and ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
  • Displays ability to direct and supervise clinical staff and activities.
  • Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.
  • Initiates appropriate counseling and disciplinary action for infraction of policy.
  • Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu.
  • Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
  • Collaborates with the medical staff to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
  • Understand and apply the program’s clinical philosophy.
  • Evaluates patient care weekly by assessing patients.
  • Participates in the formulation and implementation of patient treatment plans.
  • Aware of staff strengths and limitations and makes assignments accordingly.
  • Maintain clinical records according to program policies and those of licensing and accrediting agencies.
  • Use good clinical judgment in moving patient through treatment levels
  • Completion of weekly random clinical chart audits.
  • Demonstrates ability to work with Substance Abuse clients.
  • Demonstrates ability to work with Mental Health clients
