Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The Engineering Summer Intern will work within Greene Tweeds Engineering team in support of several initiatives associated with product design and development. This position requires Engineering or Material Science experience and familiarity with basic design concepts and material data. Experience with CAD systems, 3D modelling, and basic design process preferred.
Technical support to new product development or application of existing product designs into new systems or markets
Continuous improvement project support specific to process development, process optimization, or process analytics
Review of material test data against industry or customer requirements, and management of test data into material databases
Manufacturing support to review production concerns or resolve product inspection challenges
Development of technical reports for internal and external use
Support product or material test campaigns
Support the review of external vendor scope of work for completeness and accuracy

High School Diploma
Currently in University with focus on Engineering degree

Possess strong quantitative skills and a high level of comfort working with data
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
